Gratitude abounds at table, plates, platters, pumpkins, prayers.
Even strangers meet; wanderers, wayfaring, weary welcomed presence.
Food enough for all; sharing, succulent, sustaining, substances in layers.

Sharing joyous times, happy, harmonious, hilarious holiday.
Soon the main event, traditional, tasteful, tempting turkey!
Well prepared and dressed, luscious, lustful, levity, loving day.
A turkey honored; adored, acclaimed, admired, aspiring to be.

Surrounded by adornments; stuffing, squash, sweets, sugar beets!
Something for everyone; turnip, peas, potatoes, pumpkin pie.
To top everything, gravy, gilded, gracious gustatory treat!
A fit meal for all; consumed, crafted, connoisseur’s cry.
